At the core of FOKL is the Orkestra Kuala Lumpur (OKL) — a proud institution of DBKL and a musical force that has shaped Malaysia’s cultural soundscape for over 36 years. Known for its incredible versatility, OKL has done it all — from state events and international showcases to electrifying pop and rock concerts.
Founded by the legendary Johari Salleh and currently led by the passionate and visionary Dr. Isabella Pek, OKL is powered by over 70 talented musicians. Their mission? To bridge tradition and innovation, and bring music to life in every corner of the city.
